Welcome!
About me
Hi! My name is James. Pictured here in my natural habitat!
Born in Townsville, Queensland, I have been writing for over decade studying aviation at Central Queensland University. Often penning short stories and working up to novels. In 2022, I contributed to creating a chapter to James Rosone’s Monroe Doctrine Volume VI.
My first proper book, A Time For Volunteers, was published in 2025. A nonfiction work about travel and volunteering. Passionate about community service, I have frequently volunteered and also conducted workshops for the Townsville Writers and Publishers Centre. My experiences, from Papua New Guinea to Europe and Asia have enriched my writing fascination!
However, writing isn’t the only hobby of mine. Ever since that homemade video I made in 2012 and managed to end up in the YWAM Youth Street Film Festival, I spent a lot of my spare time making short films. Those range from machinima videos, gaming livestreams, reuploads of old-school videos and more! All of that is my YouTube channel, where I’m most active.
