My Papua New Guinea Outreach Trip - February 2017 - Morobe Province
We planted a seed that will grow into a magnificent tree whose shade we may never sit under. But I know that it's there because of said seed. It was an illustrious voyage, a journey to a distant land. A discovery. The memory will never grow old and lessons never forgotten. It was during that voyage that I discovered my talent and love for volunteer work, especially in the tropics. The thrill of adventure and joy in contributing to a better world are the best parts for me. Every day was one of challenges, duties, and endurance. That is what makes them so epic in hindsight. The jungles and seas proved to be worthy opponents. You had to earn your right to be there, through the weather, terrain, and ever-present threat of natural infections. People who have ventured there have many stories to tell, and I was no exception.
