Here's a story... In 2012, YWAM Youth Street in Townsville, QLD announced a Youth Street Film Festival. When I heard this, I knew I just had to get something made in time! And so I did...

This is a short film, featuring a ragtag multinational task force against villains made from Bionicle and Metroid Prime, military helicopters filmed machinima style courtesy of Enemy Engaged 2. Quite a mix-up!

Bear in mind, this aired on a massive screen to a hall full of people. Everyone laughed and cheered through it, and I gained a fair amount of fame around the community as a result. Heck, some people in my high school began recognizing me from that screening the very next day!

Now I look back on this and wince like "Ugh, look at that video quality! Those awful accent attempts, filming game footage straight off the screen! And what is up with that aspect ratio?!"

Emboldened by my success, I turned this one-time experience into a full-on hobby. For ten years, I've made video content in many forms. Now, here I am, a full decade later...

And the more you look back and think "Wow, what was I thinking?!" The better you are doing now. I must be doing pretty well, then!
